Spreading Holiday Cheer!XVMC Nor-Cal has been very busy this holiday to bring Christmas cheer to as many families as possible. It's been a successful and rewarding month. Nothing feels better than giving and doing something special for others. Last month, we brought toys and donations to the She Devils MC and Red Nation MC first annual toy drive. The following weekend, we joined them on a run to the local church where we distributed toys to local families' children. We also supported the Prodigal Sons MM toy drive in Manteca where we made new bonds. They welcomed Xtreme Vixens MC like family and it was the most moving experience! It was worth traveling the distance to spread Holiday cheer! We Adopted a Family! The biggest thing our club had the honor of participating in is the Adopt-a-Family program. We adopted a mother and daughter family. As it was our first time with the family, we wanted their Christmas to be extra memorable. We went all out in getting almost $1000 worth of presents. Hopefully they enjoyed our presents! For Xtreme Vixens MC Nor-Cal, we were amazed that we were able to do a lot of good in just a month. It was a nice way to end 2013. 2014 will be bigger and better! We look forward to bringing more joy next year. If you have a cause you'd like us to support, please message us! ...we were amazed that we were able to do a lot of good in just a month...

Xtreme Vixens MC is dedicated to supporting those affected by Typhoon Haiyan. For one of the members, it was a lot more personal. Samurai Girl has family in Tacloban and in the Barangay, Burauen, Leyte. Burauen is about 40 minutes away from Tacloban, it the typhoon still managed to level the homes, the church, and school. Sadly, she has lost family in this travesty.
Last month the Vixens sent donations to help the survivors begin to rebuild their lives. The immediate relief was to help them purchase tarp and materials to make shelter from the rain. It was also to help purchase as much rice as possible for sustenance. But it's still not enough. Samurai Girl's mother is taking orders for Lumpia to help raise funds to send over to the Philippines. If you're in the San Francisco Bay Area and would like to help, please send a private message to [email protected] to place an order. They're Shanghai Lumpia that are 6 and a half inches long each. If you prefer shorter servings, you may cut them before cooking. For 50 pieces, it's $17.50. $35 for 100 pieces. They're frozen upon pick up, but if you'd like cooked portions, that's possible. We just request a small donation for the time and energy it takes for her mom to make. Samurai Girl is also selling gift sets through her Square Market. All earnings from the market will be going to providing relief to the Philippines. You may also make a donation to Xtreme Vixens MC, which we will then send to the Philippines. Thank you for your support and we appreciate your help! |
