XVMC's Brown Bag Lunch Project

SF local, Lisa Wilson started a project called, The Brown Bag Lunch Project. It is her personal mission to feed one needy person a week. We were moved by her efforts that we wanted to contribute to the cause and help as many people as we could. 

On Sunday, February 23rd, we visited San Francisco and fed 65 people at the Civic Center. We met lots of wonderful people. Many shared their stories with us and talked of their struggles. Many also thought it was the coolest thing that we are a group of motorcycle riding girls. lol!

While it was great that we were able to brighten some people's day, we recognize there are many people out there who are homeless. It is our goal to do the Brown Bag Lunch Project on a larger scale. We plan to do this every other month. The more people who participate, the more people we can feed! We welcome anyone who'd like to join us to support the cause!
