I remember taking the D.A.R.E program in school back in elementary. I had fond memories of the program and really believed in the education they shared. As I was shopping at Safeway in Millbrae, I came upon two young adults fundraising for the D.A.R.E program. The young man advised that the program was no longer government funded in the state of California. It is through the contributions from well wishing individuals that help keep the program alive for our future generations! I was shocked and saddened by this. On behalf of Xtreme Vixens MC, I placed a donation for the D.A.R.E Program, and I hope you do too! You can find more informaton at their website, http://dare.org. Please contact the organization to see if you can have your donation specifically for the state of California as the donate option on their website is a general donation pot, which is not a bad thing either.
Either way, I hope that you can help us get behind this cause. It's for the children!
